Windows XP and other software soon to be ‘end-of-life’.
In just over 12 months Microsoft will be retiring the following products:
- Windows XP
- Office 2003
- Server 2003
This means that Microsoft will no longer provide Support for this software, and will no longer provide Security Updates!
See Windows Lifecycle for more information
What does this mean to me?
Any devices which are running this software will be at a significant risk from viruses and malicious software. It is imperative that this software is replaced or upgraded. As well as the security risk you will not be able to run newer software including Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10 and Office 2013.
